I have been using Vultr VPS for 1 year, 2 running VPS, 1 VPS with Vultr, and 1 VPS with DedicatedCore.They both provide VPS, which is cheaper than other providers. I like that they never charge for any hidden cost. Now I don't have any issues with their service.
I registered my first domain in 2001. Since that time I have been with so many website hosts. I wanted to try vultr and purchased the $20 monthly plan. I have to say the support is terrible, I have never seen customer support this terrible. I can't call it customer support because there is no support at all.

These guy's really are the pits when it comes to customer support . Rude and arrogant and if anything goes wrong they will constantly pass the buck . We used them a few years when they first started and it was a pleasant and professional experience . Not sure what has happened to them since then but they have really let things slip . My advice to any potential new customers is BUYER BEWARE as if anything goes wrong on their side you will be ignored or told that "This is outside the scope of our work"
We had some things not set up properly by Vultr and just got absolutely zero support on it. To the point where they started getting their own facts wrong and all they'd say over and over is "This is outside the scope of our work". Never experienced anything like it. Ended up wasting a lot of time and money.
I and my friend signed up after attracted by a $50 promotional credit. Vultr required a credit card info during the signing up to received promotional credit. Stupidly I did give away. Setup a server to test out their service. Next day, they flagged my account as duplicate and removed the promotional credit and now charged to my credit card for using their service.
Very unprofessional, recommend Linode over these guys any day. We have been hosting several websites with Vultr though they are rude and unprofessional and they just keep getting worse. Will definitely be moving all our sites away from them.
We've had several servers with Vultr over the past year. In 99% of the time, it works fine. However, we have had our servers rebooted without notice several times, once with extreme data loss (thank goodness for our data backups to another host). While we can expect this to happen occasionally anywhere, it's definitely happened more often on Vultr than any of the other hosts we've used. We've also had a few network outages which lasted about an hour each. Support has been terribly unhelpful during these situations.
